Let’s see what else they roll out. It’s premature to jump to conclusions. Also the comparisons with Kona 3 and FCP need to take into account other factors.
Just yesterday I was troubleshooting an odd audio problem in FCP for a client who was livid because as he claimed something like that would never happen on an Avid.
Most of the editors I work with always complain about little glitches and issues they face when working in FCP. When you’re in a bay with a client working on a facility level this stuff costs you money. I’m not saying there aren’t problems with Avids too but it’s a more stable platform for what it’s designed to do.
