I wouldn;t want to show off, but I do work on an app that does exactly that ?
It mac only for now and has two versions for both Avid And Premiere.
It adds markers to source clips ( using Google Speech API)
Still looking for testers so you can sign up as beta tester if you’d like to have a go.

Single take is ok. But having whole structure broken down to sequences from loads of footage is better. Did you try beta Entangle for Avid?

Well, Avid can’t do it. You have 2 options really..
1.Entangle for Avid
2.Plural Eyes

Entangle is great and is still free in beta, you can try it for free (edit8.com)
Plural eyes has strange but workable flow.

You could try Woowave as well. Actually, you could try both PE and Woowave on this test footage to check how it performs when extreme low quality audio/ 10 hours of footage is thrown into the apps.

Make sure to avoid clips smaller than 3 secs or longer than 30 min. As Woowave is not Unicode, use only ASCII path names, and avoid clips with mute audio channels. Most of the crashes are for the above mentioned reasons. Good Luck 🙂 Igor-Woowave Developer
