Same here, I spend a lot of time for simple things. I wounder how big VFX companies like Videocopilot deal with this !??

Thank you for your answer. I think only one is running I used 11 cores. Even when I use CUDA acceleration on the preview port it just boost the speed like 10% but still doesn’t use all my GPU memory or speed (it shows like 3 to 4% in task manager). Therefore I believe as you said it is just the After effects algorithm which is old and too slow.

Thank you for the reply, sorry , I couldn’t explain well. In After effects, The effect controls panel follow the current selected layer and shows the effects applied to it, right !
Let say, I select a layer A which have effects applied to it in the following order (a1, a2, a3) when I select another layer B which have effects on it (b1,b2,b3) and reselect again the layer A the effects on it change order and become (a3,a2,a1) same when I switch to the layer B the effects reverse the order to (b3,b2,b1) and they don’t keep the original order !? I attached a screenshot to understand better.

Thank you Andrei Popa ^_^ for the Answer, I didn’t know how to apply mathematic operations in After Effect but it’s exactly what you answered only the right way is (y*100/56)
y = thisComp.layer("56%").effect("Slider Control")("Slider");
[100, y*100/56]
