My media drive is indeed not full and all 5 of my raids and external hard drives are not going bad simultaneously.

I am sorry if I have not been specific enough. Here is what I believe you are looking for:

THe project where I first noticed this was a DVCPro HD native project with some HDV on the timeline. As i mentioned I have tried everything between DV and ProRes (DV, DV50, DVCPro HD, UNcomp 8 and 10 SD, Pro Res) in the appropriate native timeliness since this issue has begun and I have had no luck.

My arm appears to hurt when anything is done to it.

As the other guy said-with an Io device it is essential. I do it all the time and it helps

Of course I have tried this but I have never needed to in the past. I have successfully analyzed footage over periods of up to 30 hours without any issues or crashes. Update: When trying this with FCP 7 on this machine – it works.

UPDATE: I am actually running 10.6.4 as 10.6.5 does not exist yet. I have actually gone through the uninstall and reinstall process and I am up and running. I am blown away that it does not tell you to do this anywhere.

I am looking for the most cost effective solution and right now I do not have 10 grand for a DX. so I beleive adrenaline would be the best solution. Also with that I can’t do uncompressed HD – right? Would I be able to get one of the nitris systems working with today’s MC 4 or 5?
