If it’s 25 minutes it’s a spanned clip. Does Transfer (preferably v 2.13) see it at all? Make sure BPAV is inside of another folder (e.g. ‘Card 1’). If it’s seen, what do you see in the Sub Clips area where the spanned portions are listed? How about XDCAM Browser (v 2.0)? If the meta has been damaged or modified you can manually import using Browser to rebuild the BPAV. You can also try copying just the .mp4s to another folder and loading that folder into Transfer as a source. Note that only the last couple versions of Transfer support reading standalone .mp4s…

You use ‘Import From Camera’, not the traditional ‘Import–>Files.’ This opens the IFC browser– point it to a card or select ‘Open Archive’ for saved folders.

Make sure you are at FCP 10.0.4

If you can still see the files at the Finder/Explorer level ou can manually import the .mp4s using Clip Browser or XDCAM Browser. This will create a new BPAV which should be properly recognized by Avid AMA.

Are you running 10.0.4 and pointing to the folder above BPAV (i.e CLIPS/BPAV)?

-No difference in performance between pro/-1 cards. As has been noted the difference is the lifespan and memory type.

-Digital Ext works in UDF mode

If BPAV had been renamed or otherwise modified it’s unlikely that Transfer would show any clips (not without a little surgery, anyway). I couldn’t agree more re all the suggestions to back up properly and leave BPAV intact but if it’s just a few clips either the TAKR folder wasn’t copied or else he may have rolled on a 2nd card without knowing it. A little more info from the receiving end (some screen shots of the directories and of Transfer UI) would probably shed some light..
