It has to be something in your applications or GPU or elsewhere, as the PMW200 does not do Proxy (hence the empty Sub folder) and when you import into FCP or Premiere you are seeing the files in their native 422 codec.
On the FCP side, make sure that in the Import window ‘Create Proxy Files’ is not enabled. This will generate ProRes Proxy which is at a much lower resolution than the XDCAM footage.

Cam has USB 2.0 port and can be used as a card reader. If you shoot in 50 Mb UDF mode you will need the UDF file system driver:

Deleting from Transfer will delete from the media or archive. The file gets deleted immediately from the filesystem and does not show up in the trash. This is why there is a warning and a request to confirm, along the lines of “The file [filename.mxf] will be deleted from the media immediately, Are you sure?” The file may still be on your HDD but you are going to have to try using an un-delete utility or something of the like, as the file has been erased from the drive’s look up table. are you doing this via Log and Capture (as with tape) in real time? what if you use one of our plugins and ingest the video file based? with tape-style ingest you are at the mercy of a lot of other variables; slow drives, for example, can cause out of sync audio. to do file based ingest you would need the driver for your device and also one of our applications. the drivers are at https://www.sony.com/xdcam-downloads. the plugin can be found at https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/campaign/contentbrowser
1. Launch Browser from within FCP, File–>Import–>Sony Content Browser
2. Set FCP Preference tab to FCP7 (toggles between 7/X)

How are you ingesting and into what NLE? Are you using the latest version of Transfer or Browser, or are you ingesting via AMA into Avid? If you play the clips in Browser with their original .mxf/.mp4 wrapper, is the audio in sync?

Don’t know for sure. Sounds like the presets or something else may have gotten corrupted or lost. You should reinstall the app if possible.

There may be a problem with the video portion of the file.
Try using the ‘MXF for XDCAM HD 422’ option. This works in demo mode unless you buy a serial #. I’m not telling you to buy the option (yet) but you can still test with the demo/watermarked file. If the file is ok after a transcode at least you know you have an ‘out’.
This is assuming the problem is with the file itself and that the issue is not with Premiere, which it very well may be. If you can test on another Premiere system or even using another NLE on that machine, you should try and do so. One thing that comes to mind is the free version of Davinci Resolve, which can convert to pretty much anything.. Or the trial version of FCP X.

Check the file in Browser or one of our apps. If you continue to have trouble importing try using Browser to re-wrap to .mxf (using the 1st MXF option in the Export list, ‘MXF for NLE’, NOT the others, which are transcodes)

The US10 should accept SxS Pro, SxS-1 or SxS-1A. Do you have another machine to check these on?

correct, the US20 is backwards compatible but Pro+ cards can’t be read in the US10
