    Thanks,

I have a problem similar to this, so I’m going to go ahead with what you suggested. And I assume you’re adjusting the input blacks through Levels?

I’ll respond back with the results,

    Thanks again!

I think we have similar error messages (just read my thread…up a few from this one) that are occurring during different tasks…interesting. I’d like to see what the deal is.

Update: So after reading some previous posts, I changed the playback settings in the sequence settings to I-frame instead of Microsoft AVI. Currently it works fine, though it is a bit choppy and not the same. However, I still am looking for an answer as to WHY all of the sudden I have to change my settings to I-frame after using the default DV preview codec for over a year. ???

    Thanks again,

I’ll post a video example, though now I’ve noticed that after curving two points, I have to curve another set of points before being able to go completely straight with the third point…which I guess is okay, but I’d really like it go straight from the get-go.

Erm, select the empty box next to the file name of the layer off to the left of the timeline, a little 3D cube should appear. This means the layer is now 3D. (If you don’t see any boxes to select, hit F4). By using the blue arrow (or one of those) in the preview screen, you can now give your object depth in Z-space…likewise you could just change the z-position under the position values.

Is this what you seek to accomplish?

    Best,
    Hunter
