  • Chris,
Thank you for your response which I appreciate greatly, although I have been a member just over a year I don’t post that often as I am a relative NuB to video being as photography is my profession.
I am however trying my best to learn as much as possible with the given time I have and will do my best to help others while I am here & hope to make some good friends in the process.

    Thanks.

    Hugh

  • I already read the manual but its still a bit vague when it comes to NR, I know NR1 can leave a trail when filming but what about NR2?
Still I cannot believe that this camera famed for its low light capabilities shows high level noise in medium to medium low light situations.

Jon & Jeff, Thank you so much for answering my request for help, I am at my wits end trying to work this out,
I amunsure what you mean when you say did I interlace it when sending it to an exported *.avi file? I dont think so I only exported the flatened copy as an *.avi once I had rendered it.
in the export options it gives you the choice to export as Movie/Frame or Audio I chose movie and it automatically saves it as an avi but just that?

am I making a mistake some where,

    Thanks Hugh

  • Hi Simon,

Just wanted to know if you managed to resolve your problem as I have the same issue, at first I was using the text editor in APP but was horrified at just how much the text seemed to disintegrate, then I had the bright idea to do it in indesign as an eps but then found that APP didn’t like the format, never thought of a .png file though.
Wish you all the best and please if you manage to get your head round it before me please advise me how you did it

    Good luck & happy shooting

    Hugh Hill, (HMDigiart)

I have been a member of creative cow for around 8 months I know I don’t get as much time as I’d like to read all the help files but I do try, I also always browse for my answers rather than take up good peoples time, but this stumps me all I can think of is that I start a new project and double the resolution and then work on the text and later bring it into the work in progress for subtitles and pray it works, I am only an amateur hear but I am trying anyone can offer me a better way and I’d really appreciate it other than that I guess I will have to just keep trying.

    Thanks all the same guys.
