Hi Paloma,

I see that you have sent people the file to upgrade Final Cut from 5.1 to 5.1.4 If you could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. I have 2 computers working on same project –one in 5.1 and one in 5.1.4 and the files are incompatible. Would the upgrade be somewhere already on the computer with 5.1.4?

Trying to download XDCAM Transfer from Sony site as Apple Support directs me to it but hit free download and it downloads a Citrix app and error message. How do you get XDCam Transfer?

To be able to import Sony XDCAM, XDCAM HD and XDCAM EX media into Final Cut Pro X, you’ll need to download and install the Sony XDCAM Transfer software and XDCAM Drive software.

Choose Software Update from the Apple () menu after installing Final Cut Pro X to install Pro Apps QuickTime codecs.
Visit https://www.servicesplus.sel.sony.com/sony-software-model-PDZKP1.aspx and download the Sony XDCAM Transfer software version 2.12.
Then visit https://www.servicesplus.sel.sony.com/sony-software-model-PDWU1.aspx and download PDWU1 (XDCAM Drive Software) version 2.3.2.
