As far as I know, the film will be conformed on a Quantel IQ. Then a IQ to DI transfer.

I hope this all works. I’m going to convert the DVCAM footage through Cinetools to 23.98.

How would I merge the audio wav files with the video. Should I do it before I reverse telecine?

So cut it at 30fps, then use CineTools to convert the list to 24?

Thank you all for your replies. Right after I wrote that thread, I picked up the FCP manual, and sure enough, there it was in black and white, “Preview” button.

So, here is my last question. After reading the brochure on the two I was a little confused.

1] Does the 15 allow you to preset TC? Is there a TC REGEN function
2] Does it have Rec run and Free Run?
3] Does it have a marker burn?
4] All in all, is this a good deck?
