    Thanks Agusin,

    Yes, the image looks washed.

But not only FinalCut is doing something wrong (linear). Framelink, when you try to make DPX from the captured clip, has the same problem.

    Answers:
Are you in an RGB or YUV sequence?
we used Blackmagic 1080p23.98 RGB 4:4:4, In this case the process tab in sequence settings is dimmed
Which codec are you using to export?
same as captured. When you export your sequence without post, it is all right. Add some text and you can’t export with he same quality.
The codec you are exporting is RGB or YUV?
    Allways RGB

    Thanks again Agustin.

“Do you have material S log inside final Cut? If that’s the case, you should export as DPX for grading, you don’t need to apply any lut…”

We captured dual SDI HD without any compensation, so, I think I have log material in finalcut. I don’t know why the plain export to DPX clips the whites.

As I always work with video (lineal space for me because I never touched any setting and I never saw nothing in finalcut to correct color space) I think we need some one to really know what happend when we export with framelink (plain export) or finalcut with con text applied.

Info about the material: 1920x1080Psf 23.98 Blackmagic 10 RBG 4:4:4 with SLog and Hypergamma

    Thanks for your time.

Yes, we decided to use DV50 because it saves us disk space.

    The MSW-M2000 does’t have iLink.

I think we have to start all over again and perhaps try with an other VTR.

    Muchas Gracias a los dos!!!!!
