How might one edit with v11 and SW with this Firmtek enclosure and SATA drives as a shared volume by two G5s ?

Actually, with SW, I get yellow borders on .movs several layers up so, they move but not quite real time. It’s a G4 500 1GB RAM with Lacie FW and a Rorke Maxarray LVD 144GB striped across all 4 drives. I’m getting away with 120kb ntsc for 30 second spots. M100i for I/O… All this for better ease of use vs using FCP

Isn’t there some limitation on P6000 boards with S/N below a certain number?

This happened to me with a LaCie firewire drive – I could not see the drive on my desktop but it did show up in disk utility. There I unmounted the drive and then mounted it again and it showed up fine on the desktop.

I expected sw 10.2.1 to be there as well but I could not find it.
So does that mean download the tryandbuy?

Maybe BorisFX will get really smart and bundle Red with SW and HD at a price lower than FC Studio for the SW version.
Did you get the inconsistent clip start times in AE?

I agree, but I just wanted to position the video under some animation. What really disappoints is that the clips have incorrect start points in AE after exporting from SW.
