    Hi!
What the normal pro res setting in comressor does is to check the interlaced button – but I think the settings could be better than that. Any ideas on how to set the motion settings to get a better result?

    Kind regards
    Henrik

    Hi Peter!
This I dont get – if I go to the update section it says 4.3.1 is the latest update – how can I then be out of date with 4.3.1 – what is the latest version????

To answer my own question. I upgraded the transfer software to version 2.8 and that did the trick…

November 15, 2006 at 4:10 pm in reply to: Downconvert 720p to SD monitor

Well – now I tried several options – but came up with som new questions…
I am in PAL-land – and as I said before shot material in 720p 25 mode. I have used the easy setup in FCP for 720p25 – and in the video playback option on the FCP I have chosen 720p25.
In the aja control panel I have made my secondary format 625/25. What I would like to know is what format to choose in the video display mode in the FCP. The only choice I have is 720p25 (DVC Pro HD).
I then have live pictures on my Barco monitor but is is jittery (actually it seems like the aja makes it to 720p60 if I look on the control panel).
If I choose 720p50 it makes the frame freeze and only update the frame when I stops. The Play all frames are on in the FCP – so what should I do differently so I can se my footage on my Barco monitor.

    Kind regards
    Henrik

    Hi!
Yes I know that 720p 25 wont show on a SD monitor – that is why I want, as you suggest, to downconvert – but in my controlpanel it only says 625/50 – I am missing the 25 option….

    Kind regards
