    that works!
i have been trying to install them in various folders, both pixelbender toolkit follder, cause that is the one that seems to have the sample pixelbender plugins in it that show up in after effects. and in separate pixelbender plugin folders that i made myself. But i never came up with the rather simple idea that you could just throw them into the actual plugin folder itself. ha, so i guess i really am that dumb:-) What still baffles me tho is that in my dropdown menu in ae there is a pixelbender category with only the samples plugin in it, but that the new ones i found on aescripts for example show up as their own category. but hey, that’s of minor importance. They work!! thank you for enlightening me!

    Hi !

i’m currently looking into doing some stuff with powerpoint, trying to see how far we can stretch the limits of what’s usually done,
but i, as a lot of people, have not been really having good experiences in terms of creativity.
as i am convinced that there must be amazing creators out there, i would love to get in contact with them.
so if i’m not too straight forward, could i get the contact info or maybe a website or other reference to the artists mentioned in this thread?
that would really give me a helpfull start and would be greatly appreciated!!
    thank you in advance!

I used it about 95 % of the time. It is an incredibly handy feature and not having it will definitely cost more time on a daily basis to find a work around. I really hope it can become optional on future releases.

    speaking of that:
texture, transparency & bump-mapping compositions will show you exactly how these maps were created right inside of After effects.

is there a good tutorial for this?

i think you should try to find a spherical map of a baseball on a 3d website and then use the cc spherzize filter, or try fiddling with a square photoshop file untill you find the right way to put the lines on a square

Aha! thanks, that’s at least something:-)
since i have no experience what so ever in the field of game design or interaction,
do you or any know where could be a good start?
ill happily start googling but not having any experience might make it very difficult.
    and once again…
    many thanks!!

    HI!

i dont think that that is what i want to do.
I want to create something that has content which moves and makes sound. not really a talent, but more like a graphic animation.
the sound should attract the person viewing/interacting . in other words, i hear a sound and i as a viewer, decide to pan/scroll my view towards the sound. I could also choose to ignore it tho.
To me the easiest way to describe it would be a quicktime VR film which instead of a on still image is based on a footage loop.

Possibly this could be a flash or 3d thing, but i wouldnt know. So if anyone could point me the right direction, or has an idea how to do it in after effects?

or am i completely overlooking something?
    Thanks again!
    Henk
