I’m not sure what program you’re using. I have had good success with Compressor, MPEG Streamclip, and Adobe Encoder. They all have a preset for DVD or Bluray. You might or might not have to play around with some of the settings to get it to look the very best. I’ve had it go either way.

Not sure if this will work…go into your Auto Save and copy the project just before you closed your original and see if that plays. I have known there to be Gremlins!

You are right about dpi and text, but I have found that if you are moving on a photo the higher the dpi or res is better.

I’m not sure about the dpi, but I’m checking the max bit rate depth

Both the paused and playback resolution is FULL
I forgot to mention that they all look equally bad in the output which is Apple Pro Res 422

Thanks!! It turns out it was one corrupt file. A shot that was only 10 seconds.
