Good to know you have PE3 working with Vegas 12.
I get a crash immediately; both on my laptop and on my PC

There is a small procedure for Vegas: You click the PluralEyes button on the toolbar, the external program opens; you load the files; sync them and import them back into Vegas.

This however, does not work (yet); not even after two beta-updates they gave me.

So; before getting into the driver paranoia, I was just wondering if anybody has PE3 working with Vegas.

I am afraid I did not make myself clear. I had the driver 1.10 installed. After the recent Windows 7 update. the problem occurred: SxS not recognized; MxR are still being recognized. I reinstalled driver 1.10: no luck.
After your response I used your link to add the SxS UDF driver: still no success

‘Auto Crossfades’ was turned on. ‘Unique to one project’ put me back ‘on track’: aligning the files the timeline was set to ‘samples’. That must have created the misalignment for dissolves.

Windows driver 1.10 worked. When the problem occurred, I reinstalled it without success. Also adding the SxS UDF driver that comes with 1.10 SxS driver does not make the difference

however cleaning up C:\windows\temp and double clicking the update file there did the job.

I did not register yet because I did not receive a serial number.

There was no quick installation guide included.
