serial number missing
I received the backup DVD of Sony Vegas pro 9 today
what do you do when your serial number is not included with the software? there is no manual, or slip or anything. Nor have I received an e-mail with these essential data.
Sony Creative Software has a live helpdesk in India, but they can’t help me and advise me to fill in the web-form to get help. That form does not work.
Then they gave me a phone number for US customers: +1 800.577.6642. Howevr I ordered it from europe. and there is a holiday of some sort.
any suggestions on how to get my serial number?

Assuming that you’re already registered, go to the main Sony Creative Software page.
Click on My Account – My Software and you should see a list of all the software and serial numbers you’ve ever purchased from them. -

I did not register yet because I did not receive a serial number.
There was no quick installation guide included.

You don’t need a serial number to be able to register for an account.

Didn’t you get the serial by mail when you first ordered Vegas 9?
The Email would have the subject line :
Sony Creative Software Order Confirmation 0000000-0000of course the last 0’s would be your order number.
