Hello thanks for the advice. In the end I found an old SRT file which I could re-import as a caption. But actually I realized the titles were off-line, because back in the day i used x title importer to import titles from YouTube, before captions were supported by Final Cut.
Haha. I remembered that was a useful tool back in the day!!!

Hi there,
I recently have to re edit an old project and I updated it to the newest version of final cut 10.4.6

Now my subtitles are all offline media And I cant figure out how to make them online or rerender them.

I think I will manually reinsert them as its only a 20min short and I have the TC text somewhere. But just to know it would be interesting.

Im a huge final cut defender, but lately im running into quite some side effects, that dont make that program suitable for hand over and dig out of old projects….

you are right! it wasnt creating them, because they had a different resolution then the former ones.

describe the same.
Only problem: davinci 12.3 doesnt create this msmMMOB.mdb files???
Did something change?
Im using newest MC 8.6 and Resolve. 12.3

SOLUTION: was able to find the problem: just kill all the CEPHtmlEngine processes in the activity window. They come back two or three times. But then they don’t even start up again. Weird but works!

yes the last two solutions work for me as well…but just temporary! It’s a pain, I have to reset it every 5 minutes.
I have premiere 9.0 and work with some ProRes HQ 2K files from a thunderbolt disk on a 2011 mbp i7.
At the moment I try to create proxies of that videos, maybe its because they have quite a bit rate?

Is this solved in any update?
