I have the same problem but it doesn’t happen all the time. Thanks for the speaker icon idea, I haven’t tried that, most of the time I just take the slider all the way down to mute and back up, that usually does the trick. I was having this problem before 3.5 by the way.

I use the Lyric plug-in because all our production trucks use Lyric. I find that render time is slow and it sometimes makes my system crash. I get around this problem by pre-building my graphics and saving out as targas.
