I installed another firmware on it CHDK. It had allways had the capability to shoot and store in raw but for some reason canon locked that option with the custom firm.

I have not yet burned the project on a DVD, since I dont want to waste a disc before I am sure that I got everything in the order I want.

Maybe you are right that it behavious different on a actual DVD player.

But even on all my DVD disc when hitting the stop button on the remote, the disc goes back to the main menu. On encore during preview, it first freezes until I hit play again, but then it jumps back to play the disc from the very begining which includes my motion menu and start up text, wheres I want it to jump to another static menu..

    Ok thanks

    I am using CS5.

I was actually excided to get home and try option 1 out.

I followed Jon´s post ( Select last clip, set the end option to specify link, chose the menu then at the bottom check “Start at Loop Point”.

But it plays the whole thing again!!! How come… It seem so simply.

    Hmm…

Because the whole project only stores/fill like 450MB, so why use a 4.7GB DVD on that??

My dvd player support almost every format.

I have decided to go with 24 GB ram instead of 16 GB.

Also I changed the grapfic card to a:

    Grapfic Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 – 1.5 GB – DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.0

One last thing, I am confused which CPU to choose.

    The original was:

    CPU: INTEL Core i7 950 / 3.06 GHz – Quad Core

Now I have looked at this with 2 x CPU, so I get 8 cores.

    CPU: 2x Intel Xeon E5506 / 2.13 GHz – LGA1366 Socket – L3 4 MB – Box

I am just not sure which benifits I will get with 8 cores instead of a one CPU with 4 cores but faster.

I mean this is a 2.13 GHz. Also if I want to drive some heavy games from time to time, then the 3.06 GHz would be nice to drive those games.

    Please advice….

    Regards HRB

I found a text about the best grapfic card for the adobe suite CS4

” The NVIDIA® Quadro® CX is the accelerator for Adobe® Creative Suite® 4—giving creative professionals the performance, tools, and reliability they need to maximize their creativity.”

What would be suggestet as if not the best then more than reasonable grapfic card for the 64 bit CS5?

is there a “Understanding adobe Photoshop ” in CS5 version?

From the outcast this book looks very good as a beginner book for me. I know my way around most adobes products, so I guess this would help to get quick up to paste.
