    Hi

I have taken a couple of images from a canon powershot camera model sx200 is. I have taken them in the raw DNG format. So i.e one file size is approxmiately 17 mb.

When I open the file to import into AE cs6, the raw image panel pops up, and the image looks great. I leave all the default values and hit open.

When putting it into a comp the image looks very different from the raw image panel when first opening it. It looks very grainy and dottet…

    Please advice..

I have tried to play around with differetn bit depth channels, still same result…

How exactly did you get DNG files out of a camera that only shoots JPEG and MOV files?

I installed another firmware on it CHDK. It had allways had the capability to shoot and store in raw but for some reason canon locked that option with the custom firm.

A screenshot of your UI will help enormously.

My first guess would be that your viewer resolution is set to Full, the magnification is set to some value other than 100%, and Preferences > Previews > Zoom Quality is set to Faster.
