Hey!

Thanks for the quick response. I tried this tutorial but my clouds end up looking like they are in a nuclear haulucaust when I apply time dispacement..

Would you happen to know why? or have any other suggestions?

Hi Luis,

Are you using the paint command? If your shapes are simple like that It might also be worth it for you create the shapes in Illustrator as vector files and then bring them into AE…

Hi Mike,

In your solid layer, are you adding the stroke and fill using the layer paths?

Thank you for taking the time to do that Karl!

I don’t need to make a camera zoom into the great red spot, i just need to have a zoomed in shot of it… If that makes any sense. Would I use the offset effect again? How could I get the swirling storms in the spot itself? Would I use mesh warp to get the bands to curve around the red spot?

This is an amazing community, I’ve been reading forums and looking at the tutorials for a while now and my knowledge has expanded exponentially. I hope I can return the favor sometime soon!
