Creating a bird’s eye view of a hurricane
Hi,
I’m looking to create a realistic (as much as possible) bird’s eye view of a hurricane, as if pictured from a satellite.
I looked up this tutorial but couldn’t exactly get it to work. My time displacement was causing all sorts of funky looking clouds.

If you do a search on the forums for “hurricane” you will find a few threads discussing it. This one may be good.

Thanks for the quick response. I tried this tutorial but my clouds end up looking like they are in a nuclear haulucaust when I apply time dispacement..
Would you happen to know why? or have any other suggestions?

You could use a good actual hurricane sattelite image to create a displacement map for the same image and slightly rotate that.Use the techniques described in the tutorials below https://library.creativecow.net/jelescu_tudor/3D-from-2D-image_AE/1
