hi thanks for replying, I’ve tried the CC rays and it gives a very nice sparkling effect, to be more specific, more like a 1970s soft focus ‘star’ effect, where the light bits of an image have star shaped glows over them, its hard to describe, thankyou

hi Walter, thanks for replying, I did wonder if I needed a codec, but I have tried several media players, and they all seem to look like this.

I have now put both clips side-by-side, and rendered them as Photojpegs in an older AE –

please see what you make of them here, I’m stumped! –

hi Doyle, that’s a nice effect thankyou for going to the trouble of posting the video, so in fact I was thinking something less classy in a way, like a naff disney sparkly effect, but one that tracks and not just static, like Saphire Sparkle (if it tracked!) thanks for the suggestion though

Thankyou to you all for replying, I want to try the plugins in the future, for now I’ve gotten good results with CC Particle World included in AE.
