I have a big project and the clips set chronogically on timeline. When I sync with Plural, it doess the job, but it mixes them chaotically. There is an option concerning chronology in Plural Eyes but it doesn’t help.

I didn’t notice this issue in Vegas 9 but maybe because back then I was using Neoscene footage.
I render to DV AVI but it also happens when I render mpeg2. I haven’t checked other formats but I suppose it’s the same.

I am aware of this. Anyway I don’t give the material directly to tv channel. Before this, I am giving the material to the company which transcodes the files and prepares them for broadcast. But just one thing I got to do myself is to keep audio level under 0dB. Then they can do the rest.

thanks! I am doing 23 minute episodes for cable tv and it’s really cumbersome process to stare at the dB meter all the time. Hope this will ensure me that audio doesn’t exceed defined level.

I am using Vegas 10c but it’s not a matter of Vegas. The file is obviously corrupt (maybe the laptop crashed during transfering data), it doesn’t open in any player (VLC, WMP etc).
I am just looking for software that can fix MOV media files.

I had that problem some time ago. Try to close Vegas, locate the file of the clip that goes black and delete the *.sfk file that Vegas creates after putting a file onto the timeline. Load the project once again and see if the clip is still black in your preview window.
It might work for you or not.
