I was able to get an mjpeg through AVS converter. It’s a trial version so they put their watermark on the coverted avi.

Also had to resize to 352 x 240.

I thought I had it. I rendered to .avi and changed the video format to “Cinepak Codec by Radius.” But the picture frame only plays a split second.

    Ok, I’ll try it. Thanks!

One reason I use .wmv is because I supply the customer with the video file so they’re able to share it online. I think wmv is the most compatible with anyone’s computer. In the past I provide my customers with an mp4 and I would always get bugged for a file they’re able to watch on their computers.

I also use wmv because my mp4 does not render in the proper settings. I set it for 16:9 and it outputs to 4:3. That’s a different issue on its own. It must have a bug in my Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 software. Pro 8 worked for me in the past.

Thank you Steve for your response.

The problem is not just with the WMP. My youtube video is jumpy with motion blur too. I do about 200 videos each year but this happens rarely. Does this have anything to do with bit rate or field order?

    This is my edited video…
    https://youtu.be/TarWehPXMEM?t=35s
    rendered to .wmv, 720×480, 1.2121, 3.1Mbps
(same result when rendered to mpeg2 with same settings)

This is the customer supplied .m4v video…

    Thanks again!

I’ve done that too. It might be a little quicker, but it doesn’t work for all DVDs. I’m just trying to get a couple 3 minute clips from each 1 long DVD.
