Avid, while now considered Niche, was at one time the gold standard for NLE’s and I’ve yet to see any NLE that has a better overall design.
And many of these latest developments are really just getting us back to where we were many years ago on Avid. Shared projects, locked bins, etc. All standard Avid features circa 2010.

Go to project manager and create a collected copy of your final sequence. Copy that project to a drive and ship the drive to the station.
If they had all of the media from your project at the station you could simply email them your project file but I’m guessing that’s not the case.

Agreed. I tried out Essential Audio once and quickly realized that it was complete crap.
Adobe in it’s infinite wisdom wastes a large amount of energy on adding yet even more features to Premiere but what they should primarily be focused on is improving and refining the features that already exist.

Nina, for mastering I create Quicktime DNxHD files and I’m creating files for both broadcast and web delivery.

I work almost exclusively with sony mxf file structures so on the finder side I don’t make any changes due to the subfolder structure of sony files. But for other elements I usually mirror folders to match bins. It seems though that everyone has their own approach to media management.

there’s multiple ways to deliver to a broadcast facility but when I was delivering tv shows our timecode started at 59:00:00, bars and tone were put at 59:00:00-59:30:00, slate 59:40:00-59:50:00, countdown 59:50:00-59:58:00. Two secs of black and then the show at 1:00:00:00.

I think DNxHD would serve you well. It’s become a default mastering format. And when I used to have a proxy workflow I made all my proxies in DNxHD and it worked without issue.
And if you’re migrating to a 4k environment, add some raids into your workflow.

I’m a fan of matching my organization inside of Premiere to my finder level organization. It helps me stay organized and also allows me to easily find items.
I do all media organization within premiere. I’ve always used string outs and more recently I’ve adapted the pancake method for editing and so there’s no need to label or tag any media. The core element for all of my organization is markers.
For mirroring and backing up media I use resilio and dropsync.
