I’d lay money on AME’s use of your Graphics Card. Try switching to Software Only and see if that solves the problem.

And clearing your AE’s media cache might help too.

What audio track is your Audio Spectrum effect applying to? Coud it be that it’s picking up audio from your glitch footage?

You could always try rendering out the Audio Spectrum effect as a solo-ed layer and then adding that as new layer.

Hard to tell without viewing the comp, but from your screenshot, I’d assume the 1 is it’s own, separate layer. If it isn’t and AE is unable to cope with arabic characters, it might be easier to manually align it.

As far as I know, you can’t edit them directly in a text/code editor. Normally if I want to make a change to a preset, I’ll apply it in a comp, make the changes and save it as the same name to overwrite the original.

I’m guessing that you’re driving g the other layers using expressions as they don’t appear to be parented to your null.

Have you tried parenting all the layers to a direction null and rotating that? Not just the motion layer?

Another option would be to increase the size of the comp so that it’s square, then use this as a precomp, and that way you can drop it in multiple times to your timeline and rotate the precomp

I suspect the upgrade has moved some folders around on you. I lose all my plugins with each CC upgrade and have to reinstall. I’ve now got all the install files and licences all in one place ready to import after upgrade. I feel sure there must be a way to bypass this and have them linked centrally, but no luck so far.

I made a tutorial using VC Orb layers to create Mars and its moons. I don’t have Form, so I’m not sure if it’s applicable, but I wouldn’t be surprised there is the same challenge in that parented nulls don’t have global coordinates.

Taking 4) first, try adding static noise to a duplicated layer of the fingers. Corridor Crew on Youtube recently used this technique to improve the Scorpion King’s appearance in the Mummy Returns.

3). I think you either colour the fingers or apply textures and I you can’t track then you might be stuck. One option you could try, is using the fingers as a displacement map for a blood texture. It wouldn’t track the texture into the fingers, but it would give a sense of movement and wrapping around the gloves.

2). Fractal noise can add texture to colour, if you go that way and see 3)

1). Tracking something like this feels really difficult, but you could try AE’s mask tracking and see you get anywhere. Failing that there are pay-for plugins like Red Giant’s King Pin tracker that might help. I’ve not used it, but it looks pretty good.

To draw the lines, I’d use CC Particle World, with the velocity and gravity set to 0 and the producer linked to a 3D Null. You can then use keyframes to move the null from location to location (and have its route curve upwards in 3D.
