I just saw your Editted Original Post:

“EDIT: I managed to find the issue – the AppData folder, which I made a backup of, was causing a codec conflict in the software, causing the incorrect MPEG codec to load. I deleted the Vegas PRO appdata folder located in Local and restored the configurations, and now it works.”
