Yeah, it can be done with Explorer and I used to do this within Media Manager. Has gotta be an oversight. Perhaps a suggestion to the MAGIX Hobbits? I know some of the Team read these boards, sometimes.

I use VP to create the two files: MPEG2 and the AC3. This way I can control the outcome.

OK, the two main variables that create large, meaning >4.7gb are:

1) Runtime

2) BitRate

There’s a great freebie out there that’ll calculate all these variables for you. And some Interested?

There is a multitude of manipulations in the 2nd CC. Having already spent time in trying to come up with a “solution”, I’ve often found that working with a sample helps to target a method and get there faster and more accurately than writing time consuming and possibly getting it wrong. Simple really.
