You’re correct. However, John has asked if he is able to Zoom in on the Timeline FROM the Trimmer, and that’s not possible. As I said, Trimmer deals with single Events.

Why do you think you can? Trimmer only handles Events, not Timeline. So, no, you can’t do that.

Thanks Brie! The frustration is rather having had applied my brain cell around our colleague’s issues and wishing to provide a solution and not being able to share it, and, potential get feedback on my suggestions.

    Once again, Brie, thank you.

  • Try this method, Nested Timelines. It will remove the need to Copy and Paste the subbies.

1 – Create an EMPTY Parent Subbies VEG.

2 – In a separate instance of VP open your first and place the Subbies on the TL. Name that Veg anything, try Subbies 1 and save and close.

3 – Repeat until you’ve gone through ALL your Projects and named them Subbies 1 thru xxx

4 – Go back to 1 above and now IMPORT all your Subbies veggies into this Parent Subbies VEG.. you now have ALL your Subbies veggies Nested on ONE timeline in one VEG.

Yeah, I know, it’s ugly, I also miss Media Manager.

Sure, that’s annoying. What version of “SONY” Vegas Pro do you have?

Interesting, I can’t see any way to obscure these Envelopes. Turning them OFF gets them to desaturate, not a fix.
