Save your initial project and then do a SAVE AS with a new name. Now you start with the latest edition of the original but under a new name. Then, if you wish, do a SAVE AS with a further NEW name. Vegass doesn’t require to reload and reload and reload, the Projects only hold internal Markers to those original underlying files, unless, of course, you’ve made or added new media that your original Project wasn’t aware of!!
This has been my approach since 2002 – I do this all the time with Projects that are progressing through my Edit process.

July 29, 2019 at 8:05 am in reply to: How to insert the same audio FX for multiple tracksOK, Kyle Le, much work to do . . . .
[Kyle Le] “What happened was I had a long interview clip and I spliced them and trimmed them to about 50 different clips and I need to remove background noise from them. So I guess, I need to add sound FX restoration to many events on 1 track at once.”
Well, you need to know that not ALL SFxs can be added to the TRACK and have effect. Some are Event dependant. But there is another way to do this and to create an SFxs BUS. You can read up on that!
[Kyle Le] “Also, is there a way to remove background noise from outside ambiance like sounds from far away airplanes and overall noise from a shotgun mic trying to increase someone’s voice far away but that also raises the ambiance noise.”
Again, you need to understand the dynamics and limits to shotgun mics. Just how far away were you?
[Kyle Le] “Also, I’m using Auto Restoration FX to eliminate static noise from a lapel microphone with the default settings, “
Is that a VP Plug or a Third Party?
[Kyle Le] ” . . . . however, sometimes on each clip there is a very loud beep all of a sudden. The preview was fine and then when I went to play it back again after reopening the program, there are now beeps on all clips with the FX added. Strange.”
Kyle Le that sounds like an UNREGISTERED SFx. Need more detail.
OK, Kyle Le, you’ve asked a simple and understandable set of questions, and over three posts! Unfortunately the answers are going to be highly complex and require you to get some further understanding of the dynamics of audio capture and the options in doing Audio Restoration.
As an openning to your next level of understanding, if you would care to post a short file of your most challenging Event, say something less than 10 seconds, I’d firstly be happy to give an opinion and then, secondly, “attempt” to do some restoration on it. It’s up to you.

Hi Kyle Le! Do you mean Tracks or Events? On the Vegas Timeline a Track HOLDS one or many Events. An Event is a discreet piece of MEDIA, maybe a Video Clip with its combined or Grouped Audio. So, which is it? A Track or Event that you wish to add SFxs to?

In the future post what you ARE using. Your “reference” just confuses the issues and wastes time in getting you an answer.

Hi Ramil. Well, you’re working MAGIX VegasPro 14, and not a SONY product anymore. There are references to SONY in the Script which could have something to do with it. You’ve also said you’re running a DEMO of another s/w that’s run out. At this point, if nobody is capable or willing to debug this for you then I strongly advise you to hop on over to the OFFICIAL MAGIX Forum where you’d get a better chance of getting focussed responses :

Or wait here till one of Scripting Gurus may pop in. Your call.

July 24, 2019 at 3:09 am in reply to: Weird lines in Sony Vegas after rendering and reopening it.[gustavo trigueiros] “What i´m doing wrong ?”
Hi Guga! FYI, VegasPro15 is no longer from SONY. MAGIX purchased VP and other products from SONY in 2016.
What is the Height and Width information of the original Media? Why is your Project Settings set to 1080×1080? IMO this and your Render Template are at the heart of your issues here. I’m also guessing you’ve brought back your Rendered file into this 1080×1080 Project too. Is there a reason you’re needing to have a 1080×1080 Project?

[dave croonprince] “Can anyone recommend the best desktop PC ….”
From 2007 I’ve gone with Builders who I could rely/depend upon tailoring a PC for VEGAS Pro. Here’s my latest MONSTA! specs PC 10 64-bit 64gb * Intel® Coreâ„¢i9 – 3.3GHz * 40Gb NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070. Early days, but it’s proving my investment.
[dave croonprince] “Can anyone recommend the best desktop PC that would be suitable for editing with Sony Vegas Pro?”
There is no SONY VegasPro, not since 2016 when MAGIX bought it.

Hi Nick! Have you looked at your FXs? Having read the OFFICIAL MAGIX MSP Site this maybe your way through: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/new-blue-fx-not-found–116269/
Anyway, you’ll have more responses over there and have more responses focussed on the MSP range.

July 16, 2019 at 4:57 am in reply to: Where does Magix store a You Tube video on my computer[Linda O'Connell] “Does/where does Magix store that video that I uploaded to YouTube on my computer?”
What a good question! I’ve always assumed that that upload VegasPro process makes a Temporary Upload file and that gets Served to YouTube. But maybe I’m wrong in my assumption.
[Linda O'Connell] “I would like to save it on my system for storage purposes.”
I’d just render- out a Local File. The other way is to Download it from YT and be done.
