Star wars (and other effects) on scrolling text with or without New Blue?
I have bot 13 and 14 platinum, not suite. New Blue FX came with V14.
At some stage in the past (5? years ago) I did just that, I think without using an add-on or extension. I would probably have been working in Platinum 10.
Now all I can find is instructions to use New Blue Titler, and even then I am pretty sure that will only work if I have the Suite version. I do have a demo of New Blue stuff (or at least an unactivated version) that plasters Not Activated across my attempts.
So questions
1…I tried to activate the NBFX as instructed by going to its Help (?) and asking to go the site. The site cannot be found. Am I actually getting NBFX or just a schill? Anyone know how to activate it?
2…CDcan you do the star wars scroll without using external FX?Any help appreciated.

hmmm.. I did post something very like that, but all I saw was how to do it with New Blue FX…I will try again.
EDIT:…or using Vegas Pro. I have Movie Studio: no 3d stuff.

Titler Pro certainly does make it easy to do this effect.

Yeah I gather that. Problem is, as I said in my OP, I have Movie Studio and that came bundled with New Blue FX including Titler Pro. But I do not know if the bundled is a _full_ version and whether it’s not just a “demo”. I tried to activate it as per the instructions and the page I was taken is dead.

Which version of Movie Studio?
Vegas Pro 11 and 12 came with Titler Pro 1
Vegas Pro 14 came with Titler Pro 3 or Titler Pro Express depending on the version
I believe Movie Studio 11, 12, and 13 came with Titler Pro Express which was a limited version of Titler Pro 1.
Movie Studio 16 comes with Titler Pro 7 Express.The current Titler Pro Express versions only allow selecting a template, changing the text, and possibly changing an image (logo) or color.

AH. OK. I have MS 12 and now I have reinstalled MS 15. If 12 came with titler pro, then I should have some record of an activation key? I still see titler available in 15( Isee a whole heap of New Blue stuff), presumably because it came with 12 and is still installed as a plug-in. But no way to activate it.
