[Andrew Taylor] “can yo make any suggestions to get rid of the fuzziness in a render of a video using chroma?”
Hi Andrew! More information plus a screenshot of the Project and its Preview would be good?

[Ethan Nunn] “How do I make nested veggies?”
Hi Ethan! The VP17 Users manual explains it far better than I could.
Read pages 54 through 56.* Grazie

[Ron Koms] “…is the upgrade to 17 worth it?
and Will they all 3 work fine on the same PC?”Hi Ron! Coming from VP14? I think you’ll need to be prepared for some major surprises. Will it play nicely with the early SONY edition. Dunno…. But more to the point there is some major research you need to do to see if your rig and system comes up to the required specifications. For me and my new rig, Ah…. YEEEEESSSSS!
I suppose you could install the DEMO and see what’s what.

[Marco Baer] “Did you install the Adobe DNG codec for Windows?”
Hi Marco! Why? If our friend can’t open DNGs wouldn’t that confirm that he hadn’t? Or are you considering another possibility? Always willing to learn.

Hi Mike! You’ve got it all. You understand the tools and you understand what you’ve got to do. I recognised later rather than sooner that VegasPro is just that, a professional set of Tools providing us with a platform that ensures we get the best to be offered. Yes, it has its quirks and farts, but mostly it’s a place I daily look forward to edit on.
Work the Problem and continue making engaging videos. ????

[Tyson Onaga] “Anyone know if these are fixed in Vegas 16 or 17?”
Hi Tyson! This has been reported and noted for several Upgrades back to VP11. I made a video explaining/illustrating the issues and sent it off to the Developers. VP16 was better for me. I haven’t checked VP17. Your best option is to Demo each and try it on your own System.
Sorry, but this issue isn’t a Bug that sits still, it changes for each User. This must drive the developers nuts. Like having a wart, I’ve learnt to live with it and move on and make Video.

[Ethan Nunn] “I am using parent track motion to move all these vids at once. It just chops off the vid on the right as I try to move it.”
Hi Ethan! Forget the “Track Header Parent” stuff in this instance. Much easier and straightforward than that. Use Nested Veggies instead.
I’ve just created a Child Horizontal Stack and imported THAT into a Parent Veg and then I got busy with Track Motion. It works, and works very well:
So, think Nested Timelines and APPLY Track motion on those Nested Timelines in a Parent Veg. It works.
