Vegas 15, Font Problems
With Vegas 15, two font related issues:
(1) Fonts are missing in Vegas Titles & Text that appear in (eg) Credit Roll. The font is installed — Control Panel “sees” it, so do Word and Excel. The font(s) are nowhere to be found in the Vegas Titles & Text font list.
(2) Fonts have different “names”. Eg, In Credit Roll, Word, Excel, etc. … the name appears as:
Noto Sans CJK JP Regularwhereas in Vegas Titles & Text, the name appears as:
NotoSansCJKjp-RegularAnyone know if these are fixed in Vegas 16 or 17?

Hi Tyson! This has been reported and noted for several Upgrades back to VP11. I made a video explaining/illustrating the issues and sent it off to the Developers. VP16 was better for me. I haven’t checked VP17. Your best option is to Demo each and try it on your own System.
Sorry, but this issue isn’t a Bug that sits still, it changes for each User. This must drive the developers nuts. Like having a wart, I’ve learnt to live with it and move on and make Video.
