And again, you need the tool for the job. Pan/Crop is great for what it’s meant for.
The Text Event, you’ve chosen to use, just happens to allow the User Preview manipulation. There are other Text Events you can’t even do that! So, it’s not that it’s a Text Event, its ONLY available for that particular Text Control and NOT to do with it being solely Text.

Like that TEXT element? Then NO. I’m fearing that you have acquired the understanding that VP can identify separate elements/items within the Preview and move them independently? If so, then most certainly NO. If you have the items separately, singled-out as Events then you stand a chance. My feedback? You’re going to need to fundamentally rethink your Vegas Pro work flow for your needs.

Pan/Crop is a great tool. However if you want to have something that doesn’t require you to make the masses amount of Frame-by-Frame changes then you’d need some “other” Tracking software that can latch onto a shape.

Right, do a small DI (Digital Intermediary) say in SONY MXF. Use that as a DVD render to a DVDRW. Comeback with your results.
Tell me, on what and where are you viewing the DVD.

Derek stop fiddling! I’ve always found that a DVD comes our sideways, from the DVD drawer. Always.
OK, joking aside, somewhere in the mix you’ve introduced a 90deg rotation. You’ve done a DVD directly from the TL? Yes? Do you think you’ve got your setting to do a POSTER or Display cabinet setting? This does produce Portrait. But I’m guessing you’d see that? Unless the selection was used in conjunction with the change Media to fit Render Settings?

Yeah, having read your posts on the COW over time, I don’t think you’re gonna get with iZotope. If they have a DEMO try and see/hear first.
As part of the “rumblings” I adore iZo RX and have been with it since 2007. I’ve seen/heard it improve and push out User friendliness and their VooDoo repair-algorithms to keep me wanting more and support their efforts.
Word to the wise? BG noise can be a real issue as it tends to be within the similar freqs as the target signal. But, the latest iZo6 Advanced, which I have does do this “Machine Learning” thing which is way cool.
Here’s an offer, if you want to give me 10 second WAV of a typical TARGET and removal sample and I’ll give a go in iZo6 ADVANCED.
