That seems like a really nice alternative! Ok price too.
I would be really great if you could post your thoughts on it as you work.
Unfortunately it seems to only be available in the us…

I´m about to invest in the 7D and a z-finder and see how that works out first. I was planning to try it on some studio shots and it would be nice to have a small monitor for that but I can use a flat screen tv that sits in the studio for the time being.
This is a really great new way of working for me since I’ve been working with a wide range of cameras throughout the years, from 35mm film to RED which all is very expensive to rent.

I have read a bit about that monitor and it seems pretty great.
Like you said; a bit heafty pris but certainly money well spent.
I guess I’ll have to start saving up. One can predict there are going to be a wide variety of monitors for dslr:s in a not to far future though…

  • FHA means “Full Height Anamorphic”.
    Super thank´s for your help!

I´m aware of altering aspect ratio in the motipn tab but I just couldn´t figure out what to set it to when i dropped the 1440×1080 clips into an SD anamorphic timeline. I thought FCF would handle that automatic but it just didn´t. Anyhow, your suggestion on working in ProRes really works great for me.

Again, a bunch of thank´s from me!
