    hello,
i have decklink extreme, 5.0 windows drivers and vegas 6.0b. just install drivers for bmd card, extend desktop on decklink too (choose right resolution pal/ntsc), do some restart. after that, install vegas and set bmd card as video preview in preferences/video device/device. in that way, you will use bmd as capture/ptt device. all that works fine but i miss asio drivers for bmd (i can’t use just audio ins/outs), also miss audio only or video only capture/print to tape.

    best regards,
    gordan

i’ve noticed the same! i have decklink extreme card, pvw-2800(sp) and very well comp.

a propos capture and ptt: in decklink’s console i can’t choose to get only 1ch or 2ch-s of audio or video only. in putting clip to deck (insert), console inserts just all (v+a1+a2). the same thing happends in vegas6. even vorse. if i choose ptt from timeline in insert mode, vegas inserts only video; no audio. there is no way to insert audio only, since asemble mode does all. the strangest thing is that vegas, in asemble mode puts audio trough decklink, but i can not choose decklink as an audio device in my app.
    what a combination 🙂

    best regards to all,
    gordan
