i seem to remember that you could use the network rendering program to utilize both CPUs

  • couldnt you also just adjust the clip using the “alt” key to line the two clips up?

on my camcorder, it has to be set to a certain setting in oder to record video from the computer. maybe when your computer trys to send the video over the firewire, your camcorder isnt ready and so the computer doesnt know what to do.
i find it odd that it asks to connect device after the render and everything, why isnt your camcorder connected and set up before you do print to tape?

yes, i suppose i could, but could i solve the problem with a sound card? ive never done pre-rendering or RAM rendering, but i assume it includes some amount of waiting? my hopes would be that the sound card would lift enough load from the cpu that i wouldnt have to do that. althogh, i dont know if thats how it works.

the only problems i have ever had with the dual screen set up is that the aspect ratios dont line up right, as the tablet is almost square and the dual screens created a very wide desktop. I got use to this pretty quickly and i dont even notice it anymore.
