Not sure about the windows side…but on the Mac side a lockup at the initiallizing audio stage could indicate a conflict with a third party Sound program. In my case a convertor called “soundflower” needed to be uninstalled, and then i believe Avid had to be re-installed.

Try deleting.your data bases inside the media folders

The report it gives might help as well….does it report and crash…or lock up on.an.initilize screen..

i use this a lot..i have more luck changing.the folders to names…day 1 …or offline. On my system if i have folders numbered 1…2….3 etc. New digitizes still want to go to 1…not the highest number

remember match frame works on a hierarchy of video and audio tracks from top to bottom.
If you have 3 video tracks, and the V1 and V3 tracks are active, match frame will give you the footage on V3. If you wanted to match frame V1, you have to de-activate V3 and V2.
