the clip IS in a sequence which is all ready now just for the audio part and i’m stuck. I also tried it on a different sequence and on seperate clips too – jut to check..same result.
Was wondering..if Soundtrack Pro part of FCP software? Could it be that it may not have been installed while i was installing FCP? Is it ABSOLUTELY necessary (if yr experience) to you use Soundtrack Pro//can’t i get the job don by FCP Audio tools?

    Thanks
    Glenn

    Hi Steve

Thanks for replying sorry for not being clear.

When my log and transfer box opens i just get a list of the clips that i can transfer. There is no ‘viewer’ within the log and transfer window itself that i can see on youtube tutorials. When i first used it, i had a viewer within the L&T window. I could then mark edit points and log only that part of each clip that was absolutely necessary. As things now stand i have to transfer the WHOLE clip and that’s time consuming and tedious.

I’ve got 10.5.6 too…well..thanks for that! As it happens..after i had that problem i just shut down and started all over again and guess what….?? It started behaving!

Was really pissed off though cos i spent top dollar for the Digital Juice stuff and if i wasn;t going to be able to use even 2 of the clips i was going to end my affair with FCP.

For now, though..we are back in the saddle, hoping that that was nothing more than just a lover’s quarrel.
