June 1, 2012 at 8:28 pm in reply to: Question about focusing while filming

Sohrab – If you start recording first, and then you hit the auto focus button it’s supposed to work. However since you are already recording before you focus you will have to cut the first part of your video out in post. Here is a video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoZCpYG2KcM&feature=results_video&playnext=1&list=PLEFB4A3387B227411
Although I have noticed that this method doesn’t always focus perfectly, so I usually opt to do it manually with the magnification.

Hi Todd, thank you for replying. I thought the firmware was for the T2, am I wrong? Yes, at work we intake audio through the zoom and it sounds terrific, at home I don’t have one and was very surprised that I couldn’t plug my headset directly into the camera. Trying to find a work around.

June 14, 2009 at 11:23 pm in reply to: Add a new track in Cinescore?

So I imagine I can not import the work (tracks) I’ve already done from cine to vegas… the only way would to be to render it out and pull it in as one track… By the way, thank you for replying so quickly, I really appreciate it. Gina

I can see before I pull the renders into combustion that the problem is there just from previewing the pngs (in my browser). I’ll send you an email (with file) to the addy you provided, and thank you Alan for you reply, you are always kind and helpful to us PI users. Gina

Thanks and no problem – Yes it has been rendering from both the program and pIRender (with better results from the program – as you suggested – although no problems today since my driver update). I have been rendering big images 1920 X 1080 (but not very long – between 120 to 600 frames). I have been working inside of the “zoom to fit” so that I can see my full work scene, and when I render and the pop up asks me to “set zoom to 100%” I say yes, is this what you mean by maximizing?
