Hey! that’s some vintage gear you have there. Here I thought my Triton Classic was ‘old” 🙂

but…How do I apply the mask? I tried before but it masked everything that was under the “mask track”. In this case, we only want to mask the lower third graphic.

Hi Jeremy,
Yes, I am using the multicam tool. As you know it creates one track with 2 takes. I want to be able to crate a pip, where one picture (track) is smaller in the other (the other track).

in the multicam scenario, at times camera two shot for example, an sudience shot. It’s not always just a diff camera angle on the subject.

so I just want to have PiP at times, one take PiP in the other.

–> great idea!

The reason I had thought of using photoshop is because I was thinking of doing one like this:

picture a lower-third with a right side that doesn’t quite reach the right side of the screen AND is rounded (i.e. half circle), something like what a Popsicle stick looks like.

Can this be done using the generated media?

I assume that we must always keep the lower third within the safe region?

Also,

In creating a lower third in PS, what dimensions would you recommend to make the graphic with? i’m referring to the bg “rectangle” on which the text will go.

Too bad about not being able to return to 2 tracks. Unless I’m missing something, it sounds like a great flaw.

I see that I’ll have to learn how to master the DVD properly. I downloaded the bitcalculator. It’s quite daunting 🙂 !

Can you point me to an article on how to select all the correct settings to render a DVD at best quality?

Or…

is there a template in Vegas Pro that I should use?

one more thing…

How will the user access this if I’m including pdf files or powerpoint files to be lifted off the DVD?

I would like the user to be able to copy the files to there hard drive.
