    ah yes… another good one!

so much to add to the library! these are great for accentuating.

Some stock music and this set would do wonders!

    Thanks again!

    Thanks Mike,

    I’ve downloaded the pdf.

Is there a vegas pro render template that will do a great job at rendering for a DVD without going through the bitcalculator, etc?

    Wow! pretty impressive!

I will check this out! It may be more cinematic than I need though. I’m looking for educational and promotional purposes.

    Thanks!

Thanks Theo! Those are great. I hope to learn from them.

Where do you think the author got the audio tracks we hear in them? or… something like it.

I’ve spent hours searching the net for “loops” that I can use in a video for opening /closing.

    Thanks Mark,

sounds good. I’m willing to try this method.

Where’s a good source for free acid loops?

    Thanks Mark,

I use Sony Vegas Pro, so GB is out.

But I’ll check the others you mentioned. I checked out Freeplay music… after reading the fine print, they’re quite pricey and far from “free”.

  • Hi John,

I’ve been experimenting with this. I have a couple of questions:

    1. How did you create the 3D beveled look?
    2. when I’ve crated a mask using the bezier tool, How do I move it around freehand? I can use my arrow keys to move it up/down, side/side but can not find a way to rotate it. (ie. I may need to rotate it to adjust it slightly.
    3. When I begin by creating my lower third with the media generator (gradient), if I like my gradient full-size, how do I adjust it’s size by “squishing” it? When I just use the crop tool, I end up having only a portion of the gradient i created. I want the whole thing, but “deformed”/squished thus retaining the entire gradient.

    Thanks Jeremy,

I was hoping for an easier way. I don’t have a veg file of the project pre-multicam. I guess I would have to re-sync the clip and find the portion that I’m looking for. This will be time consuming.

it’s unfortunate that there isn’t a better way.

Thanks for sharing this work-around though.

“do you want to take one of the cams in the multicam track and take each event from that one cam and make that be a PIP?”

Yes! that’s pretty well what I want but, at times I want one take to be PiP on the other existing take.

    in point form:

    1. I have a project with a 2-camera multicam track (1 track with 2 takes)
    2. In multicam, you select ONE take OR the other as you select your cameras (or “takes”)
    2. At times during my project I want one take to be seen as a small PiP square on top of the other take. both takes can be seen concurrently (PiP)
