Sorry to hear that. It happened to us one time with the exact card. Lexar will help you recover the files if you send it to them BUT, non of the video files were recovered. Only photos. The software option does not work. We had a backup rolling when it happened. In my case, I just turned camera off since not in use and when I turned it back on, card is unreadable. I used lexar since the beginning of digital and switched to transcend which I thought a low grade card that was given to me. Never had problems in 3 years of constant use.

I guess thats true. I think you can search rigs online. What camera are you using? I’m also interested to see some here.

I’m sure that the last OS for the older media 100 is 10.4 and the card runs on a pci slot not the pcie.
Even with the mac tower before the intel requires external pci expansion enclosures to work. The mac pro 1.1 can run just software alone without the pci cards. Inorder to output video, you will need an aja kona card or matrox and they sell much cheaper now on ebay. -
Initially, I did the 2nd part and that worked fine. All those settings are saved in the original program and upon clicking the clip, it showed the color fx settings with it. It was a bit confusing at first because re saving them to another name get more confusing moving from one system to another. But, it worked.

Thanks Floh,
Just to clear my question again with the format. So, HD is the regular HD at 1920×1080? Is that right? So I can only import 4K files, edit and whats next? Can I monitor them in regular HD monitor? Does Kona convert 4k to HD playback? thanks -
Thanks Shane, just spoke with him and said he had general errors when he exported file. So far, he managed to do some work around with the problem. Anyway, i send him the link to this post so he can continue on incase he get stuck.
I appreciate all the help from all of you here. Thank you -
Oh, that stinks.
Isnt it that all clips get converted upon importing the files? Is there a conform function in fcp? Im tying to help and i use a totally different editing software, just so happen the project is 3 hours long and his deadline is tomorrow. Thanks again. -
Hi Andrew, Very often during winter time, I get really slow and got nothing to do much so I ended up putting together some stuff like my rig and some editing carts. During busy season, I get to test them all the time and improve some of the designs. I just love doing those stuff. Well, of course editing with Media 100. LOL!

Good you mentioned that. I was wondering any tutorial for multi cam editing in M100. We have an event
and the guys will be using canon 70D’s. I heard they have time code. Thanks Michael
