I got both display connected by DVI and the HP with a extra cable aswell

witch settings did you change???
just the DVI connector or something else?

do you think the graphic cards have a big role in this problem???

I got the same problem after my mac crash when I connect a new display
now I will like to recover the data but the disk doesn’t allow me to do it

but yes it is only Im using them…

Im wondering what those editors that are use to ve infront of the screen
somedays even 28 hours 🙂 per day will prefer as a monitor…

I mean you eyes are the most used part of your body in video editing
we must care about them using a good monitor.

Sorry for late awser

The error that I steel dealing with is this one

And it is very we waird because I didnt change anything and suddenly
appears … I was looking in the creative cow but people are saying a million or differents
solutions and I have tried mostly of the with out any results…

The last thing that is “partially working” is that I
go to the preferences and on porpose allow the multiprocesing …
then go back to AE and click on ram preview ( just for do something )

then go back to preference en disable the miltiprocesing ( witch in my pc is all the time turned OFF )

This problem appears
in the CS4 version
using a mac pro 3,1 with 20 Gb ram

yes you are right
I have been using long time AE and I never saw that link before just few months ago…
and I must say that it is very useful

… But I have to say as well that the functions from mac it is useful too
there is some way to add it in CS5?
