February 13, 2013 at 1:41 am in reply to: Audio sync problem rendering an HD 30 minute showYea, I dont think there is a sync problem, I just think the computer cant paly it back, when I skip around and just play a litle bit at a time it seems fine. I just dont know how to make a file small enough for a computer to play it back consistently. And I wonder if the TV station can play it back. Surely I am not the only one who has had this issue. What is the preferred file or encode to use for broadcast? who knows

June 8, 2012 at 1:29 pm in reply to: Bending an object in Zax Pro animator 5 or modelerHi Edward, I realized that you have to have your object exactly where you want it in the first key frame or it goes nuts. Obviously I was making small adjustments in position after adding warp.
Now, if you could help me out with one more thing. I have an arrow rotating in a circle and I need to change the axis of that circle. Actually there are two arrows and they will be crossing paths sort of like molecules circling an atom. I tried adding a null object, tilting it and making it the parent of the arrow but all that did was make the null object spin like the arrow.
Can you help?
Thanks

June 7, 2012 at 8:39 pm in reply to: Bending an object in Zax Pro animator 5 or modelerOkay I’m back to the issue of the object changing shape when I try to adjust it’s position on the Object track.
Am I only able to change the object position from the warp track?Really appreciate the help Edward.

June 7, 2012 at 7:26 pm in reply to: Bending an object in Zax Pro animator 5 or modelerOkay I should have waited before I opened my mouth. Figured out about the changing shape thing. Now if there was a simple way to change the pivot point of the object without having to create a group with a null object or whatever to do it.
Thanks -

June 7, 2012 at 7:11 pm in reply to: Bending an object in Zax Pro animator 5 or modelerThat’s great Edward. Now if I could just save this as an object it would be wonderful. But I notice when I move the object around in the 3D preview it changes shape. Is this the only way I can use this object?
Do I have to adjust the warp every time I change the objects direction? I know I must be doing something wrong. Really appreciate your help. -
yes got it to work after calling sony. this softare is buggy.
First everyone said it doesnt work with hdmi out then the guy at sonu said it did, then another guy at sony said it didnt. well it does work I can get preview out of the hdmi port and the dvi port however you have to mess with the sony gui, i meam move things around and then it just pops up.
this isnt the kind of software you want to use if you need to count on it working anytime you want it to. -
Thanks for responding John.
So what output from the laptop – The DVI? I know it I cant use the HDMI. Should I use a DVI – HDMI converter then go into any HD tv and if I do will I be able to see both HD and SD?
Do you know if I can use a matrox MX02 mini or Motu HD express box through the PCI express card slot? I would like to beable to import analog somehow and would rather use one of those boxes instead of that Canopus box with firewire.
Sorry for picking your brains, I do appreciate the help. -
Thanks, that is encouraging. Wondering now just how much power I really need to get this done. Don’t want to spend more than I need to. Right now the Core i7 930 laptop is going to cost me around 2300.
If you were to build a new computer for mobile editing what would you do?
Thanks again.
