What version of AE you are using?
Try converting .MTS files to some other format like QuickTime with PNG Codec. You can do this from Premiere Pro or Adobe Media Encoder as you said they are ok with it.”
Version 5.5, I tried converting and replacing with a h.264 file, still gives me the same error for some reason?

June 7, 2012 at 5:11 pm in reply to: Sony Vegas render always comes out alittle bit more darker than in preview ?Just did what you suggested and it actually gets darkend for some odd reason… Using the brightness & contrast video FX for a comparison id say its about 0,4 more contrast. Don’t know how to explain it better than that hah.

Well i got it off the Internet, not naming what kind of footage it is or where i got it from exactly but from the Internet. Probably been converted into an AVI file.
