Semanitcs aside. Jump cutting can come across as sloppy or brilliant depending on the skill set of the editor.

RIOT Atlanta
I’m not sure if they are still in business.
If the doors are still open they would qualify in the best category.
If the doors are closed they fall into the worst category. -
Why bother with that garbage? Move on.

For the regional shows you might think about putting together a simple package price deal. Some vendors may want to post their show floor pitch on their website for the customers that couldn’t make it to the show. Go to the booth, record the pitch, do a simple clean up in edit, compress it for web delivery and send it to the vendors webmaster. Come up with a price that works for you and the vendors. Then move on to the details of marketing your package to the exhibitors.

“this way is a perfect way to get individual monitors for all your sources.” – Tyler Ries
Far from perfect. Adding a video DA would be a better solution. One feed to the monitor, one to the switcher and another available for an ISO record if needed. If there’s no money in the budget then looping through the monitor is the only option for dedicated camera preview.

I will get my clip transferred to one in the next days
If you’re going to a post house to have the file transferred to DigiBeta then they can answer your questions.
Broadcasters usually have a spec sheet that outlines the delivery requirements.
Here’s a general guidline:
Bars & Tone: 1 min.
Slate (aka clapper): 10 sec.
Slate Info: Title, Duration, Date, Audio (stereo, Dolby, etc.), Production Company. Any other critical information that you might want attached.
Black: 5-10 seconds between the slate and program.do i keep it as HD or do I output it to PAL?
Given that they are asking for a Digibeta tape you will be delivery standard definition (PAL).
I have to make the footage anamorphic
The post house can help with this. Make sure that the label & slate indicate that the material is anamorphic. Often stated as Full Height Anamorphic.

You use the terms scale and zoom as if they are the same thing. They are not. Scaling is used to change the size of a layer. Zooming is used to change the magnification in a comp or layer window, for example zooming in to make adjustments to a mask. If you have “zoomed” in the comp window to 1300% it’s no surprise that the image is degraded. Zoom back out to 100% and all we be well again.
