i do conform using TC and RCX does not destroy the TC at all …

but the point is that i have my EDLs graded based on the master timeline g (with the full length R3D shots)

now that i have trimmed the R3D , i want to ask how quickly reconnect the file i have on the media browse to the trimmed ones …

if i select them all and i point the main directory that contain the new trimmed nothing happen …because i believe that resolve that not search on the subfolders when changing partent directory ?

if i select one by one pointing directly the trimmed files (so navigating trough all the folders directory (tipical of R3D) it does relink , but the length of teh file on the master session stays as full length (having black frames (but maybe this is normal ?)

i see …

according to your results : 32 cuda cores less should be 1 less node with blur in realtime …

so if the 470 gives 17 nodes on a ,ac pro i am totally sold ….

that’s honestly what I thought ,but than I read that post on reducer that confused me (basically saying that 2x 4000 would give more GPU power than 120+4000)

but it is not

ps:using the cubix :doubling the numbers or GPU card ,dies double the number or realtime nodes ?
or is a % increment ?

at the moment I have 120+285 ,and I get around 8nodes with blur on HD DPX …if I add another 285 (cubix) will I get 16 nodes ? or less ?

so to make sure I understood :
on a dual card configuration :the 4000 if used as GUI does not provide any extra GPU power (so it’s like having a GT120 )

ps:do you work for blackmagic ?

according to the Mac PDF guide the 285 cannot be GUI …

But my question is :

is 4000+285 or 4000+4000 (on a macpro tower (no cubix) more powerful (more nodes of correction in realtime ) than 285 + 120 (or 4000+120) ?
